| Paying Bills By Credit
Card
Paying your bills on Pay-It.com is fast, convenient
and FREE! And just think of all those miles
and other rewards you get when you use your
credit card to pay your bills.
You don’t even have to be a registered
user to use our service. Just click on the QuickPay
button and you can pay a bill to any of the
Billers listed on our service. You will be able
to choose which Biller you wish to pay from
a drop-down list. After that, just enter the
invoice number or other identification number
for the payment, the payment amount, and your
credit card number. Then, confirm your payment
information and Click to pay.
If you don’t register you will only be
allowed to access the QuickPay page which only
allows you to make single payments and requires
you to re-enter your credit card information
each time you make a payment. If you register
with us, you will get the following benefits:
- A MyBills page that will display all your
Billers in one convenient place;
- The ability to pay multiple bills with
the same credit card without re-entering the
credit card information;
- The ability to store you credit card information
so that you do not need to re-enter it at
any time when paying your bills.
As a registered user, after you log-in you
will be linked to your MyBills page where you
will be able to manage your Billers (add/delete),
update your personal information and store your
credit card information (not required). To add
a Biller, just use our pull down menu to find
their name and then add them to your page. If
you have a bill from a Company you do not see
listed, just submit a Store Request Form and
we will contact that merchant on your behalf
to get them listed on our service.
To pay your bills, just click on the names of
each of the Billers on your MyBills page that
you wish to pay. Then you will enter the invoice
number or other identification number for the
payment, the payment amount, and your preferred
credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express,
Discover) to use for each bill. Some billers
might not accept all types of credit cards.
Next, we will show you a summary of your proposed
bill payment transactions. If you would like
to change any information or add or delete a
biller you can return to the previous page.
Once you confirm that the information is correct
you will proceed to the final payment page where
you will see a listing of all the bills you
are paying. If you have chosen to keep your
credit card information on file with us, the
last four digits of your credit card number
(complete card number won’t be displayed
for security reasons), and expiration date will
already be displayed. Your CVV information will
also not be displayed for security reasons.
If you have chosen not to keep your credit card
information on file with us, you will need to
enter it at this time. Then, just click the
Confirm Payment button and you’re done.
You will receive an e-mail summarizing your
payment information which you should print and
keep for your records. In addition, each of
the Billers you paid will receive an e-mail
advising them of your payment and giving them
the payment details.
Receiving Payments By Credit Card (Listing
Your Company As a Biller)
In order to receive credit card payments online,
you must have a merchant account with an Internet
Payment Gateway for processing online transactions.
We are currently only able to accept companies
that process through the Linkpoint Secure Payment
Gateway. Linkpoint currently processes for all
of Cardservice International and First Data.
If you have a Linkpoint account, listing your
Company as a Biller on Pay-It is simple. Just
complete the quick Merchant Registration form,
and you will be added to our system.
If you do not have a merchant account that processes
via the Linkpoint Secure Payment Gateway, please
go to merchantaccounts4less.com to obtain one.
They have a 98% approval rating and their rates
are one of the lowest in the industry. Within
three business days you’ll receive notification
that you have been approved and added to our
list of Billers. Then, just inform your customers
or clients that they can pay your bills online
with a credit card at Pay-It.com.
When a customer or client pays your bill via
Pay-It, the funds are deposited directly into
your bank account! There is no middle-man to
deal with as is the case with person to person
systems like PayPal. You will receive an e-mail
from Pay-It each time a payment is made and
a daily e-mail that will itemize the payments
that are deposited into your bank account. You
will also be able to access your account at
anytime, from any computer. Accessing your account
allows you to:
- Reconcile your deposits
- Retrieve your deposit information
- View detailed reports of your chargeback
and retrieval histories
- Receive prompt answers to questions you
submit via e-mail
